I've met Ayda about 6 years ago, as I was working full time for a distribution company, right before I made the switch to be a full time photographer. She came to me one day, and told me she was getting married and would like me to document her wedding. I was ecstatic because I had a great relationship with her already, and I felt honoured that she would ask me.
So we went for the engagement photo session and had a blast !! I managed to have an Excalibur on site, knowing that Amanuel was enjoying beautiful cars. His eyes when he saw the car and realized we will use it as prop ....... it was priceless !!
That day, Amanuel ( who is soft, gentle, amazing soul) told me, with tears in his eyes : my goal in life is to marry Ayda, have children and be a good father and husband. If I achieve this goal, I'll be the happiest.
Well, Amanuel, I can tell you you nailed it. You have a beautiful family, a loving wife and a successful career. And ...... a photographer who had a hard time stopping her tears when she saw your daughters at our meeting point. I was so happy to meet those two little girls, ( well, I knew Hiwot already for taking her baby pictures) and I can say that this day ( September 29th, 5 years after their wedding day ) was a great day for me, filled with love and joy of being with those people I hope I'll keep in my life for the years to come.
I know I have a soft heart and I get attached to my clients ( who always become friends ....), but I can tell with no hesitation : Ayda and Amanuel ( and now Hiwot and Wudassie) you will always have a special place in my heart.
Unorganized Chaos could be the best caption for this photo. I personally LOVE it.
Have a look at the beautiful book we could create with their images :
